A long run of carved stone from York Minster. This decorative quatrefoil section dates from the 19th and 20th centuries when it replaced weather damaged stone from the original 13thC and later structure. Ideal for the creation of a folly or garden ruin. These sections were carved from Ketton Limestone which reacted with the original magnesian limestone, requiring them to be replaced. We are lucky enough to have purchased these historic and unique architectural fragments directly from the Cathedral. They are offered with a certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing their provenance. There is a total length of approx 6m the Height is 11” and the depth 9”
