WE'RE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE HARRY'S CAFE IS THE WINNER IN THE CUMBRIA FOOD & DRINKS AWARDS 2022!
We're absolutely delighted to have won 2022 Cafe of the Year award, fantastic recognition for our hardworking staff who have set and maintained such high standards of food and service. Cumbria has some amazing foodie places so to win against such competition is a huge accolade, and especially after all the difficulties we had to deal with during and after Covid.

Harry's was established in 2012 and since then has been continually growing and improving. We outgrew our original space after a couple of years, had several refurbishments, and the latest expansion (February 2022) into the Garden room has created a wonderful space for dining. We've retained the same atmosphere and eclectic style throughout, with an emphasis on freshly prepared interesting foods.
Head chef Chloe Lancaster Rowe heads an excellent team in the kitchen and front of house, offering a fabulous menu, along with an interesting selection of wines and beers.
All our supplies are from local producers (we aim to keep our food miles as low as possible) Cornvale foods, More? Artisan Bakery, Cartmel Valley Game, EWGA, Lakes Speciality Foods, Kendal Fish & Game, Woodbine Dairies, and several local breweries. Please just ask if you have any allergies or special dietary requirements. We always have gluten free choices, along with dairy free dishes, soya milk etc.
Dogs are welcome too. Please pop in and see us, we're delighted with the response from our customers who've left some excellent reviews on Tripadvisor too!
We welcome all feedback, and if there is anything you’re not completely satisfied with please let us know straight away so that we can put it right for you.
