We're now open 7 days a week in December, with our Christmas pop up markets running every day, and Harry's Hut operating outside catering most days featuring our famous Crema coffee, hot chocolate, cheese toasties/bacon buns/mulled wine/raclette/and sweet treats too!
Why visit? Well, fantastic coffee, home made cakes, an interesting wine list, delicious, locally sourced, freshly cooked food. free WiFi, and you will be very well looked after!
Harry's has now been open for 7 years and we're delighted with how its grown. We outgrew our original space after a couple of years so March 2016 saw an expansion and refurbishment which our regular customers love! We've retained the same atmosphere and eclectic style, and as before, everything is for sale so if you like the table and chairs or cushions and accessories etc you're welcome to purchase!
We have established an excellent team of staff and devised a great menu, along with a good selection of wines and beers. Alan Forsyth is our very experienced and talented head chef. Originally from Scotland Alan has been in Cumbria for the last 30 years, and has experience in many of the best kitchens.
All our supplies are from local producers (we aim to keep our food miles as low as possible) Higginson's Butchers, The Cheese Larder, Hazelmere Bakery, Cartmel Valley Game, EWGA, Lakes Speciality Foods, Kendal Fish & Game,Woodbine Dairies, and several local breweries.
Please just ask if you have any allergies or special dietary requirements. We always have gluten free choices, along with dairy free dishes, soya milk etc.
Dogs are welcome too. Please pop in and see us, we're delighted with the response from our customers who've left some excellent reviews on Tripadvisor too!
