Book launch for Lakes author’s third novel –28th March 2025

The Hotel at the Heart of the Lakes

Yew Tree Barn, Low Newton, is delighted to be hosting a very special evening in Harry’s cafe, at 6.30pm on Friday 28th March, when we will welcome author Ellie Wood to introduce her third novel The Hotel at the Heart of the Lakes.

Her first published work The Wildwater Women (2022) was followed in March 2024 by The Restaurant at the Heart of the Lakes. They have both been hugely successful and popular, so we are very excited that Ellie will be here again to talk about her new book which is to be published on 27th March.

Join us for what promises to be a wonderful evening, with the opportunity to enjoy a selection of canapes created by Harry’s kitchen and a glass of wine or two, whilst listening to an in-person reading by Ellie, followed by a question-and-answer session and the chance to buy a copy of the book signed on the night by the author.

Ellie grew up in the Lake District which inspires all of her writing. The Hotel at the Heart of the Lakes is a love letter to this part of the world.
