An antique English painted pine Huffer. A cupboard used to warm plates etc in front of a range or stove. Used in large country houses in the 19thC the handles allow the cupboard to be picked up and carried around. It would have originally stood on castors but these have gone.
The inside is lined with tin. This has been cleaned but is still rusty so would need to be sorted before using. As it is in very original condition there is no back. One could be easily added to make it more useful as a cupboard today.
The overall condition is sound but the paint finish is rough and ready.
