Liz Wakelin is an Ambleside-based artist who has been capturing the Lake District in pen, ink and watercolour for many years.

In her first dedicated sketchbook, walker, fell-runner and insatiable tea-drinker Liz records the passing of the seasons in the landscapes she loves.

Her snapshots of Lakeland life not only celebrate the natural beauty of hill country – the lakes, woods, fells and meadows – but also the quiet back lanes, the bustling cafes and the communities that call this corner of England home.
