A simple carved stone column with Doric capital. The age of this fantastic piece of stone is uncertain but it is very early indeed. There are two further pieces of column available (see last picture where they are used as plinths for two urns) and as can be seen on the pictures there is evidence of a small collar on the second section. The bronze sundial is now sold.
