A wonderful complete set of four classical garden statues representing the Four Seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Each depicted as a child figure on a plinth, heavily patinated with moss and lichen from years of outdoor life. Sets of this type were a staple of the formal English country house garden from the 17th century onwards.

Each figure retains its individual character and seasonal attributes, and together as a set they make an extraordinary focal point for a formal garden, walled garden, terrace, or parkland setting.
