A substantial, handsome piece of useful furniture.
This breakfront mahogany linen press has two banks of 6 drawers either side of a cupboard holding 6 slides.
Condition:
The top is slightly warped, but when assembled and screwed down this is not a problem. There is a channel to the back of the top where a gallery once was. The slides have been replaced and are not original.
The construction and overall appearance is very much in the Gillows style.
