19thC Mahogany Drunkards ChairRegular price £875.00 Save £-875.00
A good quality ‘drunkards’ chair, a style typical of the North of England and dating to around 1790. With pierced top rail, elegant turned spindles and nicely carved out turned arms. There are small inset brass castors under each leg which have rubbed flat over time and so do not move. In the 19thC this was turned into a commode, with a lidded top.
