We had a bumper event! Thank you to everyone who came and contributed to make the 3 day extravaganza so successful; stallholders, staff, and our many many visitors all had a brilliant time. There was a fantastic atmosphere, traditional high quality goods, food & drink, it was brilliant, thank you all! Details of the 2019 event to follow in the New Year.
2018 market details for information
We're now really looking forward to this year's annual Christmas Market, the must visit festive event in the South Lakes. All the usual YTB offerings, PLUS over 40 quality stalls join us throughout the barn and in our heated marquee selling crafts, art, food and drink. Each day we have live music; with Andy Webb on the piano, and in the afternoons our regular 5 piece Jazz Band, 'Hope Swings Eternal' perform for us all.
Please keep checking the website for more details, and please see the list below of the talented stallholders who are joining us this year.
In the front courtyard we have a variety of stalls including Alpacas, (yes, live ones!) food and drink stalls including Harry's CafeBar outside catering doing fabulous bbq food & drinks. All the other stalls are hosted in the main marquee, and upstairs in YTB, along with our regular artisans, Gary Eccles (Furniture Restorer) John Law Blacksmith (Bespokers Forge) Schofield & Schofield (Antiques & Vintage stall) Harry's CafeBar inside offers a special Christmas Market menu, always much appreciated (please note we cannot table bookings over the Christmas Market weekend)
We have introduced a free courtesy shuttle bus service offering park and ride along the main road which is very useful, and disabled badge holders are welcome to arrive at the main gate where stewards will help you park in designated spaces close by. We also have extra 'luxury' outside lavatory facilities.
Please note that the Christmas Market is now established for 3 full days.
